The Grafted of Xivu is a type of Hive Ogre encountered aboard the Dreadnaught during the Nether activity.

Gameplay

The Grafted of Xivu will be encountered a pair of two Ogres on opposing sides of the Hive portal in the Hull Breach during the boss encounter against Irkaril of Xivu Arath. To dispel Irkaril's Immunity, the Guardian must eliminate one of the two Ogres. Eliminating both Ogres will prevent Irkaril's Immunity from returning throughout the encounter and permit the fireteam to eliminate the Wizard uninterrupted. However, if one Ogre remains alive, Irkaril's Immunity will resurface when the fireteam has eliminated half of its health. Defeating the final Ogre will disable Irkaril's Immunity permanently.
