Keeper's Attendants are Elite-ranked, psionically tuned Attendants that appear in the Gauntlet of VIII reprisal of the Substratum encounter. They provide protection for the essential Keepers of the Monolith, playing their part in slowing the Guardian Fireteam from traversing the Monolith further.
Gameplay[edit]
The Keeper's Attendants appear as soon as a Keeper of the Monolith spawns on the side opposite of where the Hydra appears. Appearing with a burst of Psionic and resonant energy, the Attendant can cause some minor injury to unsuspecting Guardians. As long as the Keeper's Attendant is alive, the Keeper of the Monolith will be protected from all harm, thus requiring teamwork from both teams of Guardians to kill both bodyguard and Hydra, and permitting the Fireteam further progress through the twisting corridors of the Substratum.
