'''Anarchy''' is an [[Exotic]] [[Arc]] [[Grenade Launcher]]. It was originally acquired as a rare drop from the [[Scourge of the Past]] [[Raid|raid]]. As of the ''[[Beyond Light]]'' expansion, it can be obtained from the [[Monument To Lost Lights]] in the [[Tower (Destiny 2)|Tower]].

==Gameplay==
Anarchy was very effective for most forms of challenging content during the three years following its release. This was in part due to its ammo economy and capability of passively dealing high damage over time. Its popularity and evident power came from the ability to use its damage over time effect whilst switching to another high damage weapon. This made it one of the strongest contenders for boss damage phases, whilst additionally having the versatility for quick add clear.

It's ability to deal passive damage lead to an extremely popular variation of the 'hot-swap technique'. With Anarchy, players could fire two bolts at a target to achieve the weapon's maximum damage output before switching to two slug shotguns that could be fired extremely quickly using a 'hot-swapping' technique. Whilst the effect was limited in range, for the majority of bosses in the game this was an incredibly powerful technique that trivialized many of the hardest encounters.

With the release of ''[[Season of the Lost]]'', Anarchy was notably reduced in effectiveness. Not only was this change made in light of its dominance in end-game content but additionally due to its increased scarcity. The Grenade Launcher received a 30% damage reduction to bosses, as well as a large reduction in total ammo capacity, (from 26 to 16) this was significant enough to end Anarchy's long reign. 

In the years since, Anarchy has received a 20% damage increase (during ''[[Season of Defiance]]'') and an increase in reserves alongside other grenade launchers. Without the high damage, special weapon rotations of the past and with myriad other more effective damage over time options, the weapon has faded into antiquity despite the increases in effectiveness.

Siviks laughed. A cold, twisted laugh. Then offered up a large wad of spit at the Spider's feet.

[[The Spider]] just rolled his eyes. "Let me know when you're ready to make nice," he said. 

Siviks' laugh now grew into something maniacal. He topped it off with another wad of spit, this time directly in the Spider's face. 

Once he'd wiped his brow, the Spider leaned forward, looking Siviks in the eyes, and said, "I think our little rat here needs a time out. Perhaps someplace with the rest of the vermin." 

The many hands of Spider's men gripped and restrained Siviks. As they dragged him off, he shouted, "You… as bad as all Fallen! Worse, even! A friend even to humans… All must die!" 

The Spider simply waved goodbye, taunting, "Bon voyage, my friend!" 

Once Siviks had gone, the Spider looked longingly toward where he had stood. He sighed a deep, regretful sigh before continuing with business as usual.
