The Xbox One is the eighth generation console of the Xbox series and the successor of the Xbox 360. The Xbox One is estimated to be launched alongside the PlayStation 4 in Fall 2013. Destiny is set to be released on the Xbox One in Fall 2013. [1]The official Xbox One release date is November 2013 for the US and UK and 19 other territories, slap bang at the start of the Christmas season. While current games servers on Xbox Live number roughly 15,000, Microsoft is expanding that to a barely conceivable 300,000 in order to ensure you have instant access to your games and content no matter where you are.
Trivia
Before its official announcement, most people referred to the Xbox One as the Xbox 720, or the NextBox.
