Described as "living clouds," they would drift over land masses and dangle tentacles tipped with "bait stars" to attract and catch prey items. They were apparently used by old proto-Hive to commit suicide. Brave knights would seek after their bait-stars, possibly as a rite of initiation. Xi Ro in particular obtained six,[1] and used them to cover her and her sisters' escape from the Helium Drinkers.[2]
