The Sparrow is a single-occupant vehicle used by Guardians, primarily for fast travel across long distances within a playable zone. It is currently unknown whether or not it has, or can be modified to have, combat capabilities. According to Destiny's design director, Joseph Staten, each Guardian is issued such a vehicle, which is stored aboard their personal spaceship, and which can be summoned for use as needed.[1]
