The Ruffian will join in the fight, possibly attacking another of the enemy factions as well as the players. It is recommended to use heavy firepower and Anti-Unstoppable effects to stun it and quickly defeat it. Once it is dead, it will drop ten engrams, which can be thrown at the Haul to quickly fill it up. Occasionally, a second one can arrive.

Ruffians are a variant of the Unstoppable Incendior employed by Pirate Crews.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Ruffians can appear in all Expedition activities. They look like normal Unstoppable Incendiors, but are highlighed by a glow over their bodies. After around three minutes have passed without the Treasure Hauler being filled, a message on screen and a comment from over comms will annunce the arrival of one these Champions via Drop Pod.

Trivia[edit]

  • Ruffians used to immediately despawn as soon as the Haul was filled, making the completion of the "Robber Baron" Triumph even more tedious.
