Panoptes, Infinite Mind is a powerful Vex Axis Mind found within the Infinite Forest that oversees all realities and adopts them in the Vex's image. It is the main antagonist of Curse of Osiris. It is a deadly Vex Mind, as it is completely invulnerable to damage unless it is shorted out with an arc charge, exposing its vulnerable eye. Panoptes will defend itself by sending endless waves of simulated foes and even attempted to delete intruders from the Infinite Forest.

Panoptes was one of the first Vex who came to Mercury and converted it from a garden world to a Vex Machine World. Sagira used this origin point to locate Panoptes’ lair by projecting time forward, identifying Infinity’s Crown as the location within the Infinite realities that the Vex Mind could be found.

Trivia

• The term "Panoptes" translates to "all-seeing", and is a reference to "Argus Panoptes", a giant from Greek myth. It also alludes to the fact that Panoptes has the ability to see all possible realities.
