MIDA (an acronym with an unknown meaning) was a revolutionary government that came to power on Mars in an alternate timeline, and the creator of the weapons MIDA Multi-Tool and MIDA Mini-Tool.
Overview
MIDA was a rebel group that seized control of Mars. During its brief reign, MIDA was responsible for the deaths of 10% of the Martian population. The government eventually fell, and its surviving loyalists were forced to go on the run from threats such as "battleroids".[1][2]
