Imogen Rife was an Awoken Paladin of the Royal Awoken Guard.[2]

During the Battle of Bamberga's Wrath Rife tricked Wolf Baroness Drevis into flying her Ketch into an asteroid called Bamberga, where Drevis and her High Servitor Kaliks-4 were captured.[3]

On the way back to 4 Vesta for interment in the Prison of Elders, Rife and her fleet were attacked at Pallas by Pirsis, Pallas-Bane.[3] The siege would last for years, neither side directly assault, Pirsis hoping to rescue her compatriots while Rife continued to hold out in the hope that her fellow Awoken will break the siege. After Weksis, the Meek attempted a foolish strike and was captured by Rife's protégé, Hallam Fen[4], Pirsis led a second attack on Pallas to free the imprisoned Drevis and Kaliks-4. She succeeded but Rife destroyed Kaliks-4. In revenge Pirsis slew Imogen and escaped with Drevis.[3] However her efforts were in vain, for the rest of the Paladins arrived and, together with the Crows and Techeuns, after an illusion frightened the Wolves, Imogen was avenged with Pirsis' own capture.[2]

After the Reef Wars were concluded Rife's protégé, Fen, had a weapon commissioned in her memory.[5]
