Airy, the Witness's Chosen is an all powerful Disciple of the Witness first encountered during the discovery of an anomaly in Unknown Space. Hailing from a universe beyond the world of the Guardians where he was in charge of a gameshow, the Witness employed Airy as its newest Disciple. After being given the Taken souls of four of his contestants, Airy would arrive in Sol aboard a newly upgraded Plane, first setting sights on the realm of the Nine by orders of the Witness.
During their first incursion into the Plane, the Guardian would come across an mysterious artifact at the center of his ship. Upon getting close to it, Airy would appear, along with his Taken Aspects and a horde of Taken, attempting to overwhelm the Guardian before the Emissary teleported them to safety. Afterwards, Airy would attempt to sabotage the Guardian’s efforts in cleansing his Aspects, before confronting them himself as they attempted to cleanse Liam of his corruption. After suffering defeat, he would attempt to activate his ship's personal superweapon, The Plug, as means to obliterate the Unknown Space. It was here where he would meet his demise at the hands of a Guardian fireteam.
