Biography[edit]

Egon and his unnamed Guardian partner went to a presumed casino and found the weapon Monte Carlo, heavily secured within the building. The duo thought they could go and trade it in for a "small fortune" in Glimmer. However, a group of Fallen ambushed them and killed Egon's partner, along with their Ghost. Egon escaped alive because his Ghost planned an escape route during the skirmish, with Egon stating the Fallen were too distracted by his partner to catch him. Egon was then interrogated by the Vanguard as to the fortunate-for-Egon circumstances of the treasure hunt gone wrong, with Egon simply stating that when looked at plainly, the "math ain't so bad".
