The Brutal Incendior was a Major variant of the Incendior. One was seen in the Nightfall spin on the Warden of Nothing Strike, assaulting the Vex prison block with its companions. It replaced the Dishonored Incendior seen in the Normal run of the Strike, and was replaced with an Unstoppable Incendior on Hero difficulty of higher. Another Brutal Incendior appeared in the advanced stages of the Gatecrash encounter of The Sundial.

- After the release of Beyond Light, the Brutal Incendior in the Warden of Nothing strike became a Major Honored Incendior.
- With the release of Lightfall and the removal of Adept difficulty from Nightfalls, this enemy too does not appear anymore.
