The Encryption Daemons are Daemon Hydras found within the Variant Security Protocol node of the Vex Network. They were used by Variant Stalker Brakion, Repurposed Mind to encrypt the access codes for its barrier during its confrontation with The Guardian at the Reroute Dispatch.
Gameplay
An Encryption Daemon appears in the second phase of the final encounter of //NODE.OVRD.AVALON//. It will initially appear just under the platform where Brakion stands, alongside swarms of Harpies and two Quantum Wyverns. Destroying the Daemon releases a data Conflux in the middle of the room and allows them to see the combination hidden in one of the two pits at the sides of Brakion. It is recommended to destroy as many of the other enemies as possible, as the Wyverns and Quantum Cyclopses will make navigating the encounter complex. Brakion will summon a new Encryption Daemon after every damage attempt ends, until the Mind is reduced to a third of its health.
