Doctor Wade Bow was a Human medical doctor assigned to the K1 project.

Biography

During the study of the K1 artifact, Wade Bow would note that exposure to the artifact led to eighty percent of the crew experiencing intrusive thoughts, insomnia, narcolepsy and nightmares, with the worst cases experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations. Ultimately, he recommended to Commander Kuang Xuan that they limit exposure to the anomaly's influence by restricting direct exposure to it to thirty minutes and rotating teams between the different sites every week. He also suggested that people will need to leave the moon before they go crazy, even admitting that he was near his breaking point. Kuang offered to take him back to Earth for her quarterly meeting, where they could plan for his replacement, to which Bow agreed.

At an unknown point in time during the study, Dr. Bow would experience sleep paralysis. During which, he saw a figure he described as a "solid shadow" that felt familiar to him, though he was unable to see its face. As time went on, Bow noted how the hallucinated figure became stronger and clearer, eventually finding that the reason why the figure looked figure was because it was shaped like him, though the figure did not have a head. Eventually, the headless figure would appear during the day time and Bow himself would begin losing track of time, once finding himself in front of an equipment locker with several plasma cutters missing. As the shadow Bow stood next to him, he believed he knew what it wanted.
