==Overview==
Described as "living clouds," Stormjoys would drift over land masses—creating fog from their exhalations and generating lightning from passage through Fundament's atmosphere—and dangle glistening, translucent tentacles tipped with "bait stars" to attract and catch prey items.<ref name="Predators"/> The light their stars emitted would paralyze their prey, and their tentacles were apparently semi-autonomous.<ref name="Recalcitrant/> Stormjoys were named as one of the chief terrors the Krill faced by [[Aurash]] when addressing the [[Leviathan (Fundament)|Leviathan]].<ref name="Leviathan"/>

They were sometimes used by old Krill to commit suicide.
