Imar was an Awoken Techeun who served as an advisor to Queen Devna Tel. A statue honoring him was built in the Dreaming City that flanked a statue of Queen Tel alongside his fellow Techeun Yara. Imar is notable for being one of the few male Techeuns.

Biography
Imar was bound to the Distributary and served Queen Devna Tel there. He joined Mara Sov and her supporters for their journey back to Sol, and settled on the space station Amethyst along with the coven of Techeuns. At some point Petra Venj and soon after her sister Pinar started their Techeun training there. Imar was not fond of Petra and the woman herself did not feel he ever gave her an honest chance; Pinar, however, was his favourite. Petra eventually quit her training and joined the Corsairs, and Pinar went on to become the Coven Leader.
