Swordbound Taken Knights are Taken Knights that appear alongside other Swordbound enemies in the Blighted Blades encounter of the The Obsidian Acropolis, where their defeat yields the fireteam points for the arena activity.

Gameplay

Upon beginning the encounter, Swordbound units, possibly including the Knight will appear and do battle with the fireteam. Initially immune to all damage, in order to render them vulnerable and defeat them for points to progress the encounter, the Guardians must procure a Taken Cleaver from a Blighted Swordbearer and utilize the light melee function against the Knight's shields to break their protection and expose them to conventional attack.
