Blighted Swordbearers are Taken Knights that play an essential role in the Blighted Blades encounter of the Obsidian Acropolis, where their blades are necessary to bypassing enemy defenses.

Gameplay

The Blighted Swordbearers will appear once enough Taken have been vanquished, and will relentlessly press their adversaries. While they will attempt a normal slash against their targets like their basic counterparts, they will also coat an area and their targets in scorching Taken flame spat from their mouths. Upon their defeat, they will drop their Taken Cleavers, which the Guardians may turn against the Swordbound enemies.
