In Fractures as it is a ttrpg setting, Public Events are treated as more difficult random encounters and are also announced a bit before they begin. Once an event is announced, an icon will appear on the map screen for the location, which allows players to find and track the event. If a player arrives at the location before the start of the event, they will find a glowing flag and have the option of rallying to it. Rallying to the Flag gives them a flag rally, and displays the time until the event starts. Successfully completing the event will reward participating players with Loot. Failing an event still yields some loot but does not give Magic items. Additionally, Public Events have a Heroic version that is automatically unlocked once certain objectives are met during the event. The Heroic version increases the difficulty of the event but also increases the value of the rewards upon completion. There is also a Legendary version, this is triggered by completing a specific objective in the Heroic Tier without killing the boss or completing the event. Time to do this Optional objective is limited. | In Fractures as it is a ttrpg setting, Public Events are treated as more difficult random encounters and are also announced a bit before they begin.
