Harrower are a powerful Grim variant. Forged from multiple Grim merging back together, the resulting Horror becomes a beacon for all Grim.

Lore

"When an unusually large colony of Grim remains together for long enough, the creatures begin to form an increasingly tight collective bond. Normally this would cause their individual memories to dissolve into instinct, but if such a colony persists within concentrated pockets of Darkness, something far stranger can occur. The Grim’s innate desire for closeness—to feel whole again after being separated from the Dissenter they once were—can cause several of them to partially merge, giving birth to a Harrower. These rare Dread are several times larger than ordinary Grim and radiate powerful resonance, bearing a monstrous likeness of the creatures that formed them. Unlike their lesser kin, Harrowers possess a degree of intelligence and have been observed speaking and commanding nearby Grim while hoarding Pyramid relics as if attempting to remember something lost. Grim instinctively recognize these beings as their own and will flock to them in droves, guarding them and obeying their commands even in the midst of battle. Scholars and Hidden agents consider Harrowers of particular interest, believing that these creatures may represent one of the few surviving glimpses into the minds of the Dissenters the Witness once tore apart."
