The Deathsinger's Handmaidens are powerful Hive Wizards that appear in the Gauntlet of VI rendition of King's Fall. Exclusive to the Basilica and Daughters of Oryx encounters, they aid their deathsinger superiors in an effort to purge the attacking Guardian Fireteam with their deathsong.

Gameplay

New, essential additions to the reprised Basilica and Daughters encounters, these high-threat Wizards are essential to be eliminated. They can fire their Darkness Blasts on the move, making them quite potent threats, especially with their mobility to their new locations essential to invoke a wipe against the fireteam. During the Basilica Encounter, one of these Wizards will spawn in with an immune shield and will make their way to one of the Totems in order to activate their respective Dirge or Hymn, regardless of whether or not a Guardian is standing on top of it. Their shields can only be broken by a Guardian with Deathsinger's Power, and breaks the shield far quicker the higher their stacks of Deathsinger's Power is. During the Daughters encounter, although they lack an immune shield, they are still nonetheless essential to be eliminated as, when they reach the middle between the Deathsingers, she will invoke the singing sister's deathsong almost immediately. A pair of these Handmaidens will join their Deathsinger in defense, capable of bypassing the Aura of Invincibility in order to eliminate their attackers.
