Ascendant Hunters are Taken Wizards that appear during the False Platforms encounter of The Obsidian Acropolis, where they attempt to prevent Torn Between Dimensions players from gathering power.
Gameplay[edit]
Once a Torn Between Dimensions player has begun climbing the platforms over the Echoing Gulf, a trio of these Wizards will appear over the chasm as well. While these Wizards do behave like any other Taken Wizard, what makes them special and dangerous is their ability to harm and, even, prioritize attacking the player Torn Between Dimensions. Thus, the Torn Between Dimensions player must be extremely evasive or their peers below must aid them and eliminate the Wizards before they can become a serious threat.
