Weapon Category

Is it a Hand Cannon or is it a Pistol? I say "Hand Cannon" because A) The description in the article stated that it wiped out a group of Cabal that were beating the crap out of the other 2 Guardians and B) Thus far, we have had no confirmation that any other types of sidearms even exist in the game. It boils down to which is the lesser of 2 evils: Do we place Fate in the Hand Cannon category based upon a vague description, or do we put it into a new (and thus far unconfirmed) category? Which involves less speculation?...But that's just my .02 Glimmer... - DJenser 16:18, 20 June 2013 (EDT) I think it's very reasonable to assume that most sidearms in the game won't be giant pistols. Sidearm is a fairly general and common term, while Hand Cannon, while a confirmed term, is notably more specific and not confirmed to be applicable.
