Weapon Category[edit]

Is it a Hand Cannon or is it a Pistol? I say "Hand Cannon" because A) The description in the article stated that it wiped out a group of Cabal that were beating the crap out of the other 2 Guardians and B) Thus far, we have had no confirmation that any other types of sidearms even exist in the game. It boils down to which is the lesser of 2 evils: Do we place Fate in the Hand Cannon category based upon a vague description, or do we put it into a new (and thus far unconfirmed) category? Which involves less speculation?...But that's just my .02 Glimmer... - DJenser 16:18, 20 June 2013 (EDT)

I think it's very reasonable to assume that most sidearms in the game won't be giant pistols. Sidearm is a fairly general and common term, while Hand Cannon, while a confirmed term, is notably more specific and not confirmed to be applicable. Besides, just because a gun is a higher caliber doesn't mean that it's empirically better. This is craZboy557, signing off. 16:32, 20 June 2013 (EDT)

I agree with you, to a certain degree. However, the point I'm trying to make is this: Thus far, we have seen no evidence of any other types of sidearms in the game. In fact, every example of a pistol that we have seen, in any of the media presented thus far, appears to be a hand cannon of some sort. In any event, I've updated the Weapons page to include an "Uncategorized" section, since we've mentioned FoAF, but did not otherwise list it on that page. This way we can add any weapons vague or missing descriptions until their designation gets confirmed....But that's just my .02 Glimmer... - DJenser 10:03, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

The Patient?[edit]

Just to ask, (I don’t want to be mean or messed up), but what happened to patient, who has the weapon, are they ok, or not with us anymore (trying not to say it in a horrible way). stickJoskaa, Lion Kell What's the problem? All in a day's work...well for me, (heh heh) 19:39, February 5, 2020 (EST)
