Necromanti are Hive Wizards seen in the Deathless Adventure, where the coven attempt to devise a ritual that can resurrect the dead, using a Knight, named Takul-Dar, the Unbreakable, as their template and experiment with this magic so that it could be implemented among other Hive units. However, due to the troubling presence of the Knight, Sloane ordered The Guardian to investigate the ritual, leading to the demise of the Wizards and their Knight.

Trivia

• Many of this Hive faction's units have "Revenant" as a rank title; this suggests that these individuals have returned from death, either by virtue of being Ascendant or through the heretical practice of Necromanti's ritual or necromancy.

• The Necromanti use Necromancy which are blasphemous acts of defying death precursor to the storyline introduced in Warmind expansion, where the Nokris use the power of necromancy to resurrect himself and his dead troops.
