Rise of the Kell takes place after Rise of Iron but before Destiny 2 and explores the Fallen's unity under the new Kell of Kells, Skell,the Kell of Kells and his crusade to bring killed Fallen from death via Vex technology. Rise of the Kell takes place at Old Russia on Earth, The Lost Vault on Neptune, Ocean of Storms on the Moon, and Outside Time. Variks, the Loyal returns to help The Guardian track down Skell and his forces along with Petra Venj and the Crow, Uldren Sov.
