The Blighted Centurions are Ultra Taken Centurions seen across the Sol System.
Gameplay[edit]
Blighted Centurions are powerful foes with high health and damage. As Ultra rank enemies, they are capable of unleashing an area of effect melee attack by stomping the ground, on top of their powerful Projection Rifle fire and their seeking Axion Darts.
They were first encountered in Vex captivity on Io. Once released, these Taken would attempt to escape from their captors and hunters who've released them to collect their plunder[1]. Blighted Centurions would later replace Bracus Payne, the Called Hand in various regions of the Dreaming City after Beyond Light, coming to defend Taken Blights that bring in more troops for the Taken invasion[2]. They also make an appearance in the first encounter in The Reckoning, where they attempt to block the way to the Bridge of Folly and guard the Counterfeit Phalanx[3].
