Amethyst is an Awoken space station in the Reef.
History
Once home to a sizable Awoken population governed by Coven Leader Pinar Venj, sister of Petra Venj, Amethyst was unexpectedly attacked by Drevis, Wolf Baroness during the House of Wolves infighting that marked the initial phase of the Reef Wars.[1] In what became known as the Raze of Amethyst, the station's entire population was massacred by Drevis and her Silent Fangs.[2] Although Skolas, the Rabid had engineered the Raze as a provocation that would draw the Awoken into eliminating his rivals for him, as they did at the Battle of Iris, the Awoken quickly threw their entire military might into the conflict, which eventually led to Skolas's downfall.[3]
