It features a unique bolt-action reload mechanic, which requires the player to manually cycle the weapon between every shot, reducing its overall rate of fire. It is also the only sniper rifle to not feature a traditional scope, but instead use ironsights. Because it is also a high-impact sniper, players can also take down nearly every [[Guardian]] super attack, with the exception of a [[Sunbreaker]] [[Titan]] at full health and armor.
