Out of desperation, the Hive began [[Altars of Sorrow|sacrificing]] [[Nightmare]]s to harvest their phantasmal [[Darkness]] ~~into a crystal for a [[necromancy|necromantic]] revival of Zulmak, bringing the former champion back as an undead weapon empowered with the Darkness of the Nightmares~~ to face the Guardians.
