The Asylum is a location within the Dreadnaught orbiting Saturn.
Points of interest[edit]
The entryway features two distant platforms that house locks to open the faraway door. Said doorway past is where the player fights Ta'aun, Hand of Oryx and Baxx, Hand of Oryx can be scanned by Ghost. Ghost claims that behind that door, which leads to The Hanging Crypts, are things even the Hive fear, and have not yet been able to weaponize.[1] The Asylum is also where The Guardian fights Ecthar, Sword of Oryx as a step for the Exotic Sword quest to obtain Raze-Lighter, Dark-Drinker, or Bolt-Caster.
The Asylum also returns in Episode: Heresy as part of the remade The Sunless Cell Strike. It how is guarded by Dire Taken and the Dread and is used as a trap by the Dire Taken to contain and destroy Xivu Arath's forces.
