I think that the FOTC is a gun manufacturer. Because of their logo on the Gun. Sgtfrankieboy (talk) 09:52, 18 February 2013 (EST)

Or the faction manufactures their own weaponry, or the weapon itself is called the "FOTC". I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. :P --TentacleTornado 10:01, 18 February 2013 (EST)
But I thought that there where only 5 factions. We just keep it like this at the moment. We will get more information later. Sgtfrankieboy (talk) 10:14, 18 February 2013 (EST)
I think that it's probably that FOTC makes some of its own weapons. Also, I think the IGN article refered to it as a faction, so there's that as well. Always use the DMR. This is craZboy557, signing off. 07:00, 24 February 2013 (EST)

A screenshot from the gameplay reveal discovered FOTC means "Forces of the City". http://www.bungie.net/7_FOTC-confirmed-as-Forces-Of-The-City/en-us/Forum/Post?id=60748540 SquirrellyOtter (talk) 13:17, 19 June 2013 (EDT)

So...if the acronymn is confirmed...should this be changed?--Hawki (talk) 21:07, 26 August 2013 (EDT)
Since "FOTC" is the most commonly displayed and thus widely known designation (In the same manner as "CIA", "IBM", "FBI", and "LG") , I say we should leave it be for the time being...But that's just my .02 Glimmer... - DJenser 12:01, 27 August 2013 (EDT)
I think the full name is appropriate for the page title. --Porplemontage (talk) 13:56, 27 August 2013 (EDT)
