The '''Taken Phalanx''' is a type of [[Taken]] [[Cabal]].

==Gameplay==
Taken Phalanxes retain their shield, which they still use to protect themselves. They have however gained the ability to fire [[Arc]] blasts from their shields that can send targets flying. This can be extremely deadly, especially since they are often positioned near cliffs. They behave more offensively than their base counterparts, often charging into battle to use their shield blast. Their main weapon is an Arc [[Slug Rifle]]s with a much faster rate of fire compared to its Solar Cabal counterpart. However, their arsenal is limited, especially compared to the ''[[Destiny 2]]'' incarnation of Phalanxes, remaining the same in appearance and abilities, which can make them predictable.

Guardians can also melee Taken Phalanxes right as they use their shield blast, negating the knockback.
