However, Kalliks and his crew would be confronted by a fireteam of Guardians outside of the well. Engaging with the Guardian forces, Kalliks would choose to retreat into the Well. After deactivating the barrier blocking the entrance, the Guardians confront Kalliks within a room with imprisoned Vex. To halt the Guardians' efforts, Kalliks releases the Vex before transmatting away from the battle.
