The Infected Thrall is a type of Taken Thrall encountered within the Blooming during the Overthrow activity.

Gameplay

The Infected Thralls will be found as a trio around several large Taken Blights alongaide a Plaguekeeper bearing an Immunity Shield. To eliminate the Plaguekeeper, the Guardian must defeat the trio of Infected Thralls. Defeating the final Thrall will drop an orb of Volatile Resonance. The Guardian must hurl this orb at the Plaguekeeper to eliminate it and summon a portal at the site of its death. If the orb is left unattended until the 19-second timer expires—or is not used against the Plaguekeeper—a new trio of Thralls will spawn.

Upon entering the portal, the Guardian is transported to an enclosed area where an Icon of Solipsism bearing an Immunity Shield will reside, along with a set of several smaller Blights. The Guardian must destroy as many of these Blights as they can before they are transported back to the original location, where another set of Thralls will spawn. This following process must be repeated until all the small Blights are destroyed. Once all of the small Blights have been destroyed, the Guardian will return to the original location where three Icons of Solipsism will appear.
