Vochun, Prelate of the Will is a powerful Psion Flayer of the Shadow Legion and a leading member of the Created Congression.
Biography[edit]
Originally a normal Psion, Vochun was once one of many clones created by Calus from within the Typhon Imperator to become part of his Shadow Legion army. Following the Emperor's death, he would be among the forces deployed to guard the Witness' Pyramid and the reforming body of Nezarec.
During the Guardians' assault on the ship, Vochun would be the sole survivor of a Shadow Legion squad. Watching the Guardians press forward, the orders imprinted into his mind initially made him try to pursue them. However, he would hear a different voice that drew him to an abandoned part of the Pyramid ship where he would find a long room with a single amber casing at the far end. A plant from the Traveler's terraforming beam had pierced the amber and Light had been dripping into a severed arm.
Vochun pulled the arm out by order of the voice, promising him freedom and power. The power within the arm was enough to evolve Vochun into a Flayer, increasing his power and expanding his mind beyond what Calus' initial makings. Vochun would be indebted to the voice, revealing itself to be the lost Disciple Tivon, and would travel across Sol to recruit members of the Scorn, Shadow Legion and Taken left aimless following the Witness' death in the Pale Heart.
He and fellow followers of Tivon would assault the Dune Raiders' base on Titania to access the Tivon's Pyramid Ship it was built over and retrieve a piece of Tivon located within. Ultimately, the plan was successful and Tivon was able to escape before the Guardians could stop them. However, the Guardians would learn what they were planning and intercept their attempts to steal other pieces located in Pyramids across Sol.
Out of desperation, Vochun and his Shadow Legion followers would retreat to the deepest parts of the Typhon Imperator to attempt to resurrect Tivon with the parts they had and one of their Evocators. However, the Guardians attempted to intervene and Vochun fell in battle as he attempted to stop their advance, but died with pride knowing he had stalled them long enough for Tivon to be rebuilt.
