Swordbound Taken Centurions are Taken Centurions that appear alongside other Swordbound enemies in the Blighted Blades encounter of the The Obsidian Acropolis, where their defeat yields the fireteam points for the arena activity.

Gameplay

Upon beginning the encounter, Swordbound units, possibly including the Centurion will appear and do battle with the fireteam. Initially immune to all damage, in order to render them vulnerable and defeat them for points to progress the encounter, the Guardians must procure a Taken Cleaver from a Blighted Swordbearer and utilize the block function to turn the Centurion's Acolyte's Eyes attacks against themselves to break their master's protection and expose them to conventional attack.
