Suffocators are Taken Wizards that function as a Taken equivalent to Deathsingers.

Gameplay

When engaged, the Suffocator will teleport away from the foe then begin channeling; causing a Deathsong like timer to begin. While they are chanting, their foes' views will be obstructed by white mist, and a one minute timer will tick down. If it reaches zero, the player will succumb to Pervading Darkness x 10 and die. Breaking the Suffocator's Absorption Shield stops their chant, which they will only restart when their shield recharges. If engaged in melee, the Suffocator will cast Whispered Ward to knock targets away.

• Suffocators possess an abnormally strong Absorption Shield that is resistant even to matching damage.
