Quartermaster Hobgoblins are enhanced Vex Hobgoblin Champions armed with empowering darkness which they can use to aid their allies.

Gameplay[edit]

Quartermaster Hobgoblins will behave much like any other Hobgoblin unit would, keeping a good enough distance from their opponents while hitting them with slightly more powerful and accurate implements. However, rather than keeping alone and seeking a more isolated and elevated position, the Quartermaster Hobgoblin will tend to remain in the midst of a massive Vex squad. When enough allies are within proximity to the Hobgoblin, it will begin to generate a baryonic pulse that will enhance the effectiveness of nearby Vex and throwing them into a borderline berserk state, enhancing their arsenal and making them far more aggressive and accurate with their ordnance. In order to mitigate the Quartermaster's enhancive abilities, Guardians should make use of an artifact's Anti-Quartermaster rounds or any ability that can stun the Quartermaster Hobgoblin to briefly stagger it and remove the empowering aura enhancing its' allies.
