Lau'urc is a brutal, cunning and clever Barant warrior and the leader of the Dune Raiders, having lead them to victory on many occasions through her fierce tenacity and strategic planning. Highly versatile and resourceful, she has been able to collect and repurpose whatever weaponry, vehicles and technology from across the Cabal Legions she can get her hands on to allow her Raiders to gain strength against other factions.
Lau'urc is a brutal, cunning, charismatic and pragmatic leader.

Lau'urc is also a passionate individual, valuing the lives of the Empire's citizens and those under her command and detesting tactics that wastefully throw soldiers at a problem. Additionally, because of her charisma, she has been able to bring in many soldiers from across many Legions with conflicting ideologies. While other Cabal leaders would enforce a mindset that the Barant were the superior species and the client species under them, Lau'urc's treats all under her command as equals, wanting soldiers who would follow her because they wanted to rather than being forced to.

Compared to other Cabal who have opposed the Guardians, Lau'urc has a more open-minded outlook and is supportive of Caiatl as Empress. She believes that the ancient traditions of the Cabal and their grudge against the Guardians is holding them back and sees Caiatl and her alliance with them as a step forward for the Empire. As such, he holds a hatred for the Barant Imperium, Golden Legion and Shadow Legion for turning against her, as well as the Shadow Legion's willingness to work with the Hive and Taken. Despite this, she still allows any Cabal or Psions from those Legions to join her, as well as Eliksni, rogue Guardians and even Choral Vex that broke from Maya's control, viewing any who joined the Raiders as warriors with potential usefulness to her.
