Hamik, Salvation's Shadow is a Fallen Marauder of the House of Salvation encountered as the first boss of the invaded Harbinger Exotic Mission.
Gameplay[edit]
Upon destroying the shield drone in the center of the reservoir, Hamik and seven digital copies of them copies will emerge around the arena, along with a Skiff to offload reinforcements. Hamik and their copies will open fire on their opponents with their Wire Rifles, and can easily kill an unprepared Guardian in a single volley. Meanwhile, the real version of Hamik will also occasionally toss a Web Mine in an effort to slow a target down and make them easy pickings. Guardians are free to damage Hamik and their rather weak copies but once there are three of these bosses remaining, including Hamik themselves, or if Hamik loses a tenth of their health, every one of them will vanish and reappear with all copies restored and Hamik moved around elsewhere.
At two fifths of their health, Hamik will retreat and all their copies will dissipate, and an armed skiff will appear to offload reinforcements. With the elimination of the Fallen squad and the destruction of the Skiff's guns, and thus subsequent retreat, Hamik will appear with two digital copies, this time, however, equipped with a pair of Shock Blades and will attempt to cut down their opponents. As before, after taking considerable damage, Hamik will temporarily retreat to and reappear elsewhere. Guardians should thus be continuously on the move and stay out of reach of the Marauder and their copies, taking shots when they can before finally putting down the Salvation elite.
