The Crystalbound Sacrifice is a type of Hive Thrall intended to be sacrificed for a Hive ritual. They can be encountered within the Landing during the Overthrow activity.

Gameplay

Crystalbound Sacrifices will spawn around the proximity of a central crystal surrounded by three Hive statues. This encounter unfolds in waves as initially one, three, and finally five Thralls. These Thralls move slower compared to typical Hive Thralls, and bear an Immunity Shield that renders them invulnerable to any damage. To eliminate these enemies, the Guardian must lure the Thralls into the vicinity of the crystal. Once inside of this vicinity, the Guardian must destroy the crystal to summon and contain them within a cylinder Hive containment field that destroys any enemies trapped within. This containment field will dissipate shortly after and a new crystal will materialize. Sacrificing a necessary amount of these Thralls will summon forth a Conjured Abomination. Defeating this Ogre will complete the encounter and grant progress points.
