During the course of ''Calling Them Home'' the player strengthens the communication network established by [[Devrim Kay]] and [[Hawthorne]] before the player's arrival in the [[European Dead Zone]], by placing signal amplification nodes across the EDZ. They do this to broadcast a signal about The Farm. The player further encounters the fallout of their assassination of [[Skexsis, Outcast Captain]] during ''A New Frontier'', destroys Fallen jamming devices in the [[Outskirts]], and ultimately travels to [[Sojourner's Camp]] to place another node for the network, defeat the Fallen there, and secure supplies for [[the Farm]].
