Brood Queens are special variants of Wizards that are responsible for birthing entire legions of Hive. As a result of their important role, Brood Queens are so well hidden and protected that reports of expeditions and missions launched into the [[Hellmouth]] on the [[Moon]] don't even mention them.

The first Brood Queen ever encountered, In Anânh, was larger and looked noticeably different from other Wizards; possessing a large abdomen with bony protrusions that ended with a tail.

Brood Queens are a superior form of a Wizard than their [[Brood Mother]] lesser. It is unknown what connection the two forms have to each other.
