Many years after its destruction, the planetoid of [[Nessus]] was undergoing a massive terraforming with the [[Maya Sundaresh|Conductor]] converting its [[Radiolaria|radiolaria]] for her own nefarious purposes. To track her location, Saint-14 needed to extrapolate data from the deceased version of himself located within a defunct [[Infinite Forest]] simulation of his tomb in Nessus's archive. Once [[Failsafe]] was able to lock onto the Conductor's location, she began rerouting the radiolaria to the Guardian's location. In doing so, she tripped a security node within the simulation just as the Guardian escaped, recalling an alternate [[Minotaur]] variant called '''Agioktis, Archived Mind''' to their location alongside an army of Vex. ===Corridors of Time Part 2===
Agioktis is encountered at Infinity's Siphon in Corridors of Time Part 2. After you meet up with Saint-14, he will be detained in a Vex prison and the Martyr Mind will arrive, beginning the boss fight.

Agioktis makes use of the same weaponry and battle tactics as [[Brakion, Genesis Mind]]. It is armed with a powerful [[Line Rifle]] as a primary means of offense and can fire a barrage of [[Void]] Bolts from its left arm. It can also summon red, cube-shaped fields that will release extremely volatile [[Seeker]] drones if you get too close. The Mind can detain any aggressor, trapping them in a bubble and stalling their progress. Agioktis will retreat behind a Vex shield barrier whenever a fourth of its health is lost but can still fire through at its opponent. Once behind its defense, it will summon a [[Shackled Minotaur]]. These [[Ultra]]s must be killed to retrieve the [[Arc]] Charge that they dropped, so that it could be deposited into a Vex [[Conflux]] holding the Martyr Mind's barrier. This process will have to be repeated three times throughout the boss fight. Once the third Charge has been placed, the now-headless Martyr Mind will teleport you into the detainment field but will be destroyed seconds later by Saint.

===Mission: Shell===
Agioktis, Archived Mind is encountered in the [[Planetary Depths]] after you witness Saint-14 retrieve the data that Failsafe needs to bring the Conductor to their location from the [[Simulation Corridor]]. Bearing the frame of a Minotaur and wielding a [[Slap Rifle]], Agioktis is capable of firing at the Guardian with rapid speed and is assisted by swarms of Vex units during the encounter. To deal high damage against the Archived Mind, the Guardian must fire at the head of the Minotaur rather than the chest that is most commonly the area of vulnerability for a Vex. Moreover, Failsafe will also manifest platforms that the Guardian can use to take cover from Agioktis. The platforms will continually vanish over the course of the encounter as new ones begin to apparate. Upon losing around four fifths of its health, Agioktis will lose its head and it will begin to fight more aggressively during the battle. Once Agioktis, Archived Mind is destroyed the final encounter of the mission is complete.

*Agioktis is the second giant-sized [[Hobgoblin]] the Guardians have encountered. The first being [[Brakion, Genesis Mind]].
**Agioktis is also the first Vex seen changing class between appearances. Going from a Hobgoblin chassis to a [[Minotaur]].
*Agioktis's name is derived from the Greek word "[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agios#Greek Agios]," meaning "sacred" or "saint." This is a homage to Saint-14 himself, and the supposed respect for him that the Vex developed.
*Martyr means: to be executed, or disdained, because of having a different belief. Agioktis's title fits its purpose, as it was created for the purpose of killing Saint-14, whose Light and relentless strength were something the Vex did not understand. And that it ultimately died to defeat Saint-14, regardless of if the Guardian interfered or not.
