It'll have to be at the E3 2017 event that we get something solid related for ''Destiny 2'', and we have five months for them to drop another content expansion even as small as Crimson Days. It would behoove them to drop something like the April Update, perhaps a small Cabal reconnaissance fleet appears out beyond Neptune establishing an FOB on Pluto and the Guardian has to go thwart their actions in four or five Story missions followed up with two Strikes like taking out the commander and then something extraneous relating to the Hive or Vex. Even something like that I'd enjoy, despite my current lack of consoles. --{{User:Dante the Ghost/Sig}}

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD

So this appeared on reddit: So cabal mega blocks sets portray cabal attacking the city... linked from "My name is Byf's" video which in turn links to this Bungie forum post and both link to this post on bloks.hyperboards.com, the original source of the "leak".

The text, in any case, is this:

- Destiny Cabal Goliath Tank Building Set
Buildable Goliath tank with rotating turret and articulated jets
Tank fully opens to reveal interior troop bay
Four highly detailed, super-poseable micro action figures include Commander Zavala, one Cabal Phalanx, and two Cabal Psion
Zavala comes with detachable armor and Answering Chords auto rifle
Cabal figures come with detachable Siege Dancer armor, weapons, and shield accessory

- Cabal Bruiser Battle Building Set
Buildable hangar platform
Set the scene for a clash between a Bruiser's crushing strength and a master swordsman's skill
A legendary warrior faces his greatest contest yet in the Tower hangar
Wielding his Raze-Lighter, hero of the Crucible Lord Shaxx prepares to pit his blade against the furious cleavers of a Cabal Red Guard

- Aspect Of Glass Building Set
Buildable Aspect of Glass jump ship with opening cockpit and working launcher
Highly detailed, super-poseable Hunter micro action figure
Figure comes with detachable Spektar armor and Lord of Wolves shotgun
Jump ship stand features transparent articulated display rod

Apart from the last set, the previous two have interesting storyline implications. Now there has been no images released, as this reddit comment from someone whose worked with selling LEGOs confirms, but basically the descriptions themselves are spoilers for the story ahead.

The first set has Commander Zavala facing off against three Cabal Siege Dancers and a Goliath, while the second set has Lord Shaxx wielding Raze-Lighter against a Cabal "Bruiser" -- apparently a unit that is similar to a Colossus from the description -- of the "Red Guard" (possible Martian Legion or reinforcements?) in the Tower Hanger itself, meaning the City is under attack at last by the Cabal warmachine.

So far these are only rumours, and a Google search hasn't revealed anything from our usual sites (e.g. Bungie.net, Gameinformer, etc), but this is potentially interesting stuff. What do you all think?

I think an attack on the city more than likely. Not only does Destiny 2's concept art give us that much, but we also know they wanted to follow a Star Wars theme, (and I can point out the conceptual similarities between them) we have a VoG card that spells it out, and then we have these toys. This would make the story like empire strikes back where the rebels had to relocate after their base was destroyed in the Empire's assault on Hoth. So I say it is probably gonna be the case at some point. stickArcmind TalkContribs 07:45, 31 January 2017 (EST)

I like the idea of an attack on the City and feel as though that's what Bungie was building up to in the last two expansions. On another hand, it's 2017 and we have not heard a single thing about the game other that it's in development. This kind of worries me given there was so much more info being put out in the year and a half prior to Destiny.--Spartacus TalkContribs 14:56, 31 January 2017 (EST)

Yeah I agree. Their lack of communication with the community is going to have people dropping their game. Take 343 for example (yeah I know you hate them, Spartacus) they have—for the most part—kept in constant contact with the community and have made sure to have a steady flow of Lore related expansions, events and so forth. Destiny's supposed "steady flow" is just boring old side activities. But in reality, no one wants to spend hours playing your boring old activities because there is no point. Its gets old after a while of just getting loot. We all just want a good story!!! stickArcmind TalkContribs 15:03, 31 January 2017 (EST)
