Arath's Vengeance is a unique Hive faction created after Oryx seized power and created the first Hive. Serving as the "hammer" of the Hive army under the command of Xivu Arath's consort, Varlak, the Corruptor, they carry out Xivu Arath's will using brute strength.
History
Gameplay
Arath's Vengeance is unique in that it is mostly made up of Knights, Wizards, and Ogres. The appearance of lesser-ranked troops, like Thralls and Acolytes are few in far between, although Thralls appear more frequently than Acolytes. The reason the higher-ranked troops appear more often is because, according to the consensus of Varlak and Arath, lesser-ranked troops do not have a clear-cut niche in the Hive army. Those with a more defined purpose, they believe, will see more success.
