Egon Bash is a Guardian in service of the Vanguard, although he had a highly questionable reputation.[1]
Biography

Bash and his unnamed guardian partner went to A ruined casino (presumably on Earth) and found the Weapon, Monte Carlo, in there. The duo thought they could go and trade it in for A "small fortune" in Glimmer. then A group of Fallen came, Bash's partner then took fire then died, but his Ghost got destroyed. Bash escaped because his ghost planned an escape route, and abandoned his partner. Egon was then Interrogated by the vanguard for questions about what happened to his partner.
