Crota is an ancient ruler of the Hive, who led them in past conflicts, including battles against humanity, where he conquered the Moon. He wielded the Sword of Crota, a weapon used to kill countless Guardians. Crota is the main villain in The Dark Below, where the Hive have awoken Crota to attack humanity.[citation needed]
Gameplay
Crota's End is a raid where Crota is present and Guardians must kill Crota before he launches an invasion of Earth.[citation needed]
